Mighty was responsible for creating and managing the website for Charlie On Broadway's US tour. This involved designing an engaging and user-friendly platform that showcases the brand's unique offerings, such as merchandise, event information, information about the cast, and behind-the-scenes content.
Social Media
In an effort to reach a targeted audience, drive ticket sales in local venues and increase overall social media engagement, we began with a marketing audit. After gaining a better understanding of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s social media presence, we implemented a strategy designed to reach fans spanning all tour locations (US and Canada based) and engage the target audience. To engage this audience, we launched a system of digital marketing strategies, including organic social media management, content and merchandise marketing, and website management.
Strategy and Results
Our Strategy: Instagram was the primary platform used in our marketing strategy. By posting eye-catching and informative posts on this platform, we garnered interest from thousands of fans and potential ticket purchasers around the country. We also kept Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's 29,000+ Instagram followers updated on the latest cities + events by pairing with local community partners and scheduling cast member takeovers.
Results: Our efforts helped Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's social media platform drive 1.7 million impressions and tripled the accounts social media engagement. Additionally, our social media efforts have driven more than 233,000 clicks to the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory website — a 455% increase over the previous year.
